Below the Tasman Sea, an eagle ray named Laios was born just when the sun was rising. As he opened his eyes, he saw the sun glistening off the ocean’s surface. That caused young Laios to generate the mark of the sun ray. Laios’s mark was spectacular. The scales along his spine became gold, speckled with dots of silver.
Laios was an adventurous and curious ray, though sometimes he got himself into BIG trouble; like when he was following a little clownfish through a ravine, then got stuck between two rocks that only small fish could swim through. He would’ve been stuck there for a week if it wasn’t for a crab that pinched Laios’s wing. He shaked the crab off and while doing so, he made the rocks loose. He ate the crab after he got out.
He grew up to be a strong ray, but still with that younger imagination. When Laios was old enough, Laios’s parents sent him to school. There, Laios made some friends: Jota, Rei (the ray), and Kensuke. They all liked to play and watch ray-ball. Their favourite ray-ball star was ‘Craystiano Raynaldo’.
One Saturday morning, Laios heard a nerve-racking sound -AAAAARRRRRROOOOOOO!!!!’ Laios’s parents ran to his room. They said something that involved the ‘Orca Horn’ and ‘Evacuate’. Laios followed his parents to the bunker; and through a looking hole, he saw a pod of orcas. They had eye patches and looked deadly. The ray military with their strengthened barbs and coral swords were lining up to fight. Then, Laios heard an ear piercing noise, then everything went black…
When Laios’s consciousness returned, everything was silent. Then, Laios’s parents came into the bunker saying, “thank god you’re safe” and hugged him forever. It turns out that the orca horn unleashed their battle yell, and many soldiers got knocked out. If it wasn't for the whales, we would have lost badly.
The next day the rays and whales held a big celebration that lasted for three days and three nights. Laios was just thankful that his family lived another day.
The End.
