This morning, I had a swimming race at Naenae pool. For the warmup, I did six fifties of freestyle. This was the national qualifiers so it was a fifty metre pool. The events I was going to do were, 200 metre freestyle, 50 metre breaststroke, and 50 metre butterfly . After the warmup, I went to find my club, Swimzone Racing. After a while, I was up for the 200m free. I was racing Jiezl, from swimzone as well, and a 9 year old. I was aiming to beat the qualifying time, which was 3 minutes, and 18 secs. When the announcer blew the whistle, I went up on the diving block. “ Take Your Marks, BEEP!” I was full of anticipation as I hit the water. After 4 laps of fifty metres, I was done. 2nd place, and second place in my age group. Also I qualified! 3 minutes fifteen. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay |(“,)| .
